Is just me or there are more and more fanarts of Ooi being straight & assertive? Well the whole KTKM x Ooi was an extension of the meme she became thanks to the anime which despite being too hyperbolic it was very uncommon imo to see in anime a one way yuri relationship. Also it shows how influence was the anime compare to the game.

I'm sure one of reasons is that in multiple(iirc?) official arts Ooi appeared with wedding ring on her finger.
Add that several artists made very good and heartwarming arts and books about "straight & assertive Ooi" for years. Artists like ryou-san, nanahamu, kujira_naoto, kouji_(campus_life) and many others.

I love Ooi.

Can't say the reason is deeper to me than it's reasonable to have straight fantasies about her and imagine her disdain for you in voicelines is tsundere in a game about players interpreting the gaps in the characters.
