This piece was meant to replicate the look and feel of the eyecatch intermission pages from Gurren Lagann. Client asked for the Zeta Gundam and protagonist of its titular series to be stanced similarly to the original reference image, though stylistic liberty was taken to maintain the visual design of the main character and the mecha.
