    What?
They're afraid of Dracula yet they are vampires? That is so strange...
    "What you lack is Charisma."

Heh, this looks like it's going to be intresting. I wonder is Dracula going to appear in the next strip?

    The Vault Dweller

Great the author did do something special for the 100th comic! An expanded one and with a great one page story. I love it. Great recommendations for him.

    Herrmobel

Apparently, he hopes to push it to 200. All good luck to Colonel Aki, may he be blessed.

There's always a bigger fish in the pond and bigger fish often enjoy eating smaller ones...

    Helepolis

Flandre is sleeping upside down again. Summer cabbin deja vu?

    LizUsui

O_O eh? why are they afraid of their own species?

    WillieGR

HAHAHA Epic! They looks so darn cute, I don't really care they're afraid of their own species! Ahh... memories... I used to do that a lot when little... Watch horror movies, then be too afraid to sleep in my own room.

    Rawr~rawrs~

Kinda like why is Youmu afraid of ghost of the imaginary sort. Yes may Aki be blessed.

    Pingchan1

    She was lying.

He manages to get most of the English right and then has "to be continue" at the end...

    So close!

    Red Frost

If you fought Dracula in Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, you'd be afraid of him, too. Hell, even in Portrait of Ruin he was a bitch.

But yes, cheers to making 100. May you take us on the journey for 100 strips more... and then next time we toast you, we wish the same thing... for these are made of awesome.

    glasnost

Dracula refers to himself as 'boku'?

    Yoritoshi

    "Akumajou Special: Boku Dracula-kun"

And here we see another example of how the caucasian ethnicity is symbolized within the limited features seen in anime: freckles. A character can have blonde hair and blue eyes and still be Japanese, but as soon as there's a few freckles, then you know they're white... I guess it's better than having characters wear clothing practically made out of flags.

    Arche

Or being stereotyped by their behaviour. Hear hear Colonel Aki for being culturally sensitive, even getting most of the English right! I assume he's aware of us here at Danbooru.

Anyone here an artist? Perhaps we could make something for him, a little thank you from his western fans.

    Dalveska

Heh, the irony. As said by others, they are little girls watching a horror movie. Enough said.

Would be amusing if Sakuya has a similar dream as Remilia back at the beach house.

Even without the freckles, if it's a woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes you pretty much assume "American".

    Vishibus

    Aren't they descendants of Dracula?

Remi was lying when she said that.

    saiyoucho

This is one of the cutest things ever! I'd want a t-shirt with the picture of scared Remi and Flan. The moe levels are off the charts!

    Ataeru

wait... they claim Dracula is their father (even though hes not) so why be afraid of him?
    but yeah, cute

    SonicGTR

Well, at least they weren't watching Twilight.

    Foppy

Anyone notice that Flandre's foot flips between the last two panels?

    firedemon

    I'm the goddamn batman!

    imaliar

Shouldn't this have an irony tag?

    DynamiteX

ARGGGGGG *explode* The Scarlet Sisters are just way too damn cute!!!

    Bruce ofthe lees

So friggin cute god I love Sakuya here lol
~Although it is true that's the joke, it would kind of be reasonable to be scared of a Human creep even though you were human yourself.

Personally, the Ecclesia Dracula's a bigger bastard, since he doesn't absorb Death's powers and transform into a giant bat thing after being sufficiently smacked across the head. Once he's taken enough damage, he turns to face you, starts walking towards you and proceeds to beat the ever-loving shit out of you!

And yes, the above spoiler was necessary since he's never done that before.

    localhazzard

Ya know most horror movies have a human killer/evil guy that scares the human audiences quite a lot, so it's no surprise that Dracula scares the little vampire children.

    Ande

Am I the only person who is thinking of "Saw" all of a sudden? Same species, yes, but defiantly wouldn't like to end up meeting any of those wack-jobs. Thing is its even more scary because this could actually happen.

    Scholastica

Even if Remelia wasn't lying I doubt anyone would be happy to have Dracula as a relative. He's like that that psychotic grand-uncle you dread visiting because you know darn well he keeps bodies in the yard.

    VocaUtau

The woman in the Dracula movie looks kind of like Princess Peach...
poor Mario, he can't save her from Dracula.

    crystal tear 020

And I thought that Dracula's an inspiration for all vampires.

    fl00fydragon

remi/flan: (thinhink) oh shit its dad run run away

    Nilix

It's like watching your dad beat someone up. You don't fuck with Dad.

    OOZ662

If only, Alucard, if only... =|

    banmenot

Well, we have to admit that Uncle Vlad can be pretty freaky, as seen for example in post #680664

    2. technically all vampires originated from dracula because one vampire is made from another and dracula was the first so all vampires started from him so technicaly remi aint lying. =)

In Touhou, most supernatural beings were created through conceptualization by the masses. They were made similarly to how gods are powered.

She claimed to be descended from Vlad Tepes. If that were actually true, the timing of her birth would actually make it likely that he was her father. But since Remi made the whole thing up, that doesn't matter.

It's the 'boku-ers' which are often the nerdiest, or the creepiest...

Well, say you're watching a scary movie, say, "Saw." I've never watched it, but the murderer in that movie is human, right? It's a matter of disposition.
