I think the fingers match up. I just notice that the Artist didn't give the back of Ryou's head and hand, some form of ... lift? To match the action of reflection.

If that's the index finger pointing up, then fingers match up, and thumb is missing. If that's the thumb sticking out, then we're missing a finger. Either way you look at it...
