I-It's not what you think, Teio...
I definitely, most emphatically did not umapyoi Nature or King or El or Rice or any of the gir—

    Umapyoi /ɯmapʲoi/
    1. Abbreviation of "Umapyoi Densetsu", one of the songs for the Umamusume franchise.
    2. To dance or sing along with the Umapyoi Densetsu song.
    3. [analogy from 1.] To fully finish a given Umamusume's training scenario (winning the URA finals with first place) in the Umamusume Pretty Derby game.
    4. [analogy from 3.][euphemism] To "go all the way" with a given Umamusume. To achieve last (fourth) base.

Not quite sure how to use the 'uma pyoi' in translation - then again I never played the game before nor can I legally watch the anime here.

Umapyoi is the live song that you can watch when the girl you trained wins URA Finals in their training mode.

So Teio is basically saying that the Trainer was cheating on her, since he "Umapyoi'd" some other girl.

(Also is it just me or has there been a trend of yandere Teio fanart lately?)

Not that I mind more yandere. As far as I could tell from pixiv dictionary, uma pyoi can also refer to winning a race course?

    It's fan-jargon.

"Umapyoi densetsu" is one of the songs for the Umamusume franchise, but in the game version it's also one of the later ones unlocked by the players (IIRC when one wins the URA Finals), so "Umapyoi-ing" a girl came to mean "train her all the way until she reaches the URA Finals and get first place". This is the first sense of the word.

Naturally people with... 'colorful' minds would then extend the above analogy further into an euphemism for reaching final (fourth) base with an umamusume, if you know what I mean.

There is also a third sense, just meaning "dancing or singing along with the Umapyoi song". This meaning is basically similar what people would often mean when they take the (sometimes abbreviated) name of some song and turn it into a verb, e.g. "He went Gangnam-styling".

    The artist comment also goes:

    "It's not like that Teio!"

"I totally didn't go with (Nice) Nature or King (Halo) or El (Condor Pasa) or Rice (Shower) at all-"

It's alright. I'd say yours has more flavour to it.

Sort of. First meaning is to win the URA Finals with a specific horsegirl; second meaning is to reach fourth base (using the in-game horse racing analogy instead of the English baseball one) with a given horsegirl; and third is to just sing/dance-along with the Umapyoi song.

And just to expand on umapyoi densetsu, the song was used in the PV of Umamusume all the way back in 2016 (a lot has changed since then), and was also used during the credit roll of the finale of both seasons of the anime (strangely not use for the 3 episodes OVA). So you can pretty much say it's a significantly important song in the series.
Edit: I should also mention there is a cover sang by Trainer-san, with slightly different lyrics.

On the other hand, to quote a comment I saw online

Teio has 2 kinds of personalities among the JP community
a Yandere or a clingy child
