Cracking down on crime is still the job of the police. However, one could say we heroes are the most effective for fighting criminals or monsters with special powers, or the weaponry unleashed by evil organizations...against evildoers who are absurdly powerful. There even exist among them atrocious villains one cannot confront with conventional weaponry. Those are the ones whom we must be ready to oppose at all times.
