Now that you mention it definitely could be. I couldn't decide if it was Naka or Kongou at first.

Using the way she talks, her "desu" is in kana, so it's Kongou.

In this case it's katakana (used to signify foreign words, loan words or in this case words being spoken by a foreigner indicating incorrect pronunciation or over-emphasis of some syllables as Japanese places the same weight on all the syllables in any given word) as opposed to hirigana (used for general grammar and phonetic spelling) for those (not implying yourself) that don't know the difference.

Y'know, despite knowing that 仮名(カナ） is used to refer to syllabic scripts, I keep using kana to refer to "fragmentary kana" instead of katakana... I wonder where I picked that up. Sorry for any confusion caused.
