    There's a lot of serious siscons in Kancolle. I presume the only way to get a "good ending" with Ooi would be to marry Kitakami at the same time, and live as a threesome.

    She even says she loves the admiral "too" with regards to marriage.

    You know what's funny? What we see in this fanart is now her canon personality, as seen in her recent lines and the anime. She said she loved the Admiral too? Changed for more "Kitakami-saan!"

    Well, anime Ooi is still Kai though? Ooi Kai Ni is 'Admiral too', but Ooi Kai and normal are mostly 'Kitakami-saan!'

    The anime can hardly be called "Canon" in the same way all the other mediums can be called Canon. They all do their own thing. Sendai is a lolicon in the Ganbare Fubuki-chan manga and I saw none of that in the anime. Nor do we obviously see Hyuuga and Ise being teachers in the anime. That role was givne to the Myoukou class girls.

    The anime is just pure fanservice so thats why they went with a crazed lesbian Ooi because that's probably what the staff noticed the fandom doing on Pixiv and what other kancolle memes they may have saw.

    If I recall correctly, Ooi was still a crazy clingy lesbian in the Ganbare Fubuki-chan manga .....
