It seems like Haruna's apologizing a lot if it was Kongo that made the initial blunder...knowing the weirdness that can happen with pronouns and such in Japanese, are we sure that's how it went down? I suppose Haruna could just be being her soft self as well.

The thing I see odd here is that their battle rigs are just about... you know, the same?
And it seems unlikely that their hair would count as part of it, but... okay...

Either way it's amusing to see this sort of switch (Kongou being mellow and Haruna being lively... or ... uh...)

Here's what I get. Kongou took Haruna's equipment, Haruna took Kongou's. By that, they switch personality. Now, Haruna (is still Haruna) has Kongou's personality, and the backward for Kongou.
