Well, to watch. I watched some guy stream it and it was fun as hell to watch. that fight on the moon? balls to the wall amazing
You must not have played it. It's pretty fuckin' amazing. Plus, you never really see many games recently pulling the whole "TRUE ENDING" thing, while the ending that you get when you haven't gotten a certain amount of S ranks are kind of alright. Only thing I was kind of moderate about was how simple the combat was, and the quicktime scenarios made up the gist of what you got, but timing's a good enough tool to use to make gameplay work for a story. For me, it's perfect. Story's amazing, I actually cried a few times, and unlike most beat-em-up games like Devil May Cry or God of War, the protagonist sort of grows.
Still keeps the template of a hot-tempered fight-hungry assraping demi-god... But he's a better character to me than Kratos, though there are similarities in that they're both Dads. I'm getting off topic though.
The game's great, this art pretty much captures Asura's badassery, I'd play it over and over because it's like owning your own anime series collection, great voice acting, great moral to the story, great suspense, and fuck man, you get to interrupt the villain monologues to get straight down to business and fuck up their shit. Somewhat reminds me of Afro Samurai, a little.
I give the art exactly what I give the game, 9/10. Sometimes pressing some buttons to make different moves happen aren't necessary for good gameplay. This game's an example, you guys should support it.
