Use yahoo! for the company and yahoo for the word.

Alright. I'm not aware of any/all context around the "word"-tag (at a glance, seems Toho-associated, here), so would you do the wiki for it?

I've moved the ones referencing the company to Yahoo!.

Yahoo is a word used when excited. Most of the Touhou posts seem to be because of Kasodani Kyouko.

A tag should only be a copyright tag if it has one or more characters associated with it. Does Yahoo! have any official characters, such as a mascot? If not, it should be general.

Don't tell me Amazon's characters are smiling cardboard boxes.

Yahoo! Mail has a mascot called Liam (Mail backwards), but we might just use a yahoo!_mail tag if he ever shows up on danbooru.

Google is also a copyright tag at the moment and it has no mascots that I know of. I know there is google-tan but I don't know if Google's uses her as their official mascot.

As far as our guideline is concerned, it doesn't matter if mascot/character is official or not. See the discussion in issue #1728.

Personally, I don't like the current guideline because of how inconsistent it is, but this is a topic for a separate thread.

As I said, there was no actual discussion where it was decided that unofficial characters can count.
