I can't seem to update artist profiles, specifically artist #129375. I keep getting the error "Url Url must begin with http:// or https://." even though the following URLs follow that rule.

http://blog.jnwiedle.com/
https://twitter.com/jnwiedle
http://pixiedrawings.tumblr.com/
http://helvetica.jnwiedle.com/

I created issue #3781 for the above. I deleted the artist in the process of trying all available actions, just in case anyone is wondering. It can be reverted though once the issue gets fixed.

Updated

The count for the overwhelming majority of used tags on the site is wrong. Some of these are by large margins, eg. under-rim eyewear says there are 17996 posts with the tag but actually there are less than 9900.

Perhaps a leftover side-effect of forum #148041? But it's a widespread issue affecting almost every tag on the site, and meaning that going to the last page of a single tag search frequently results in a redirect to the wiki or a "nobody here but us chickens" message rather than actually going to the end of the search results, even when the difference is relatively small.

Updated

I cannot create artist profiles for artists that have a wiki page but don't have an artist profile. It just keeps reporting "Error: Name conflicts with a wiki page". I encountered this bug when I tried giving a profile to the artist richard yu, which I assume some user didn't know about artist profiles and put the URLs on the wiki page.

Edit: I just did a workaround for this. Transfer all posts under the artist to a temporary tag name. Then rename the remaining wiki page to something else and delete it. Once that's done, transfer the posts back to the original artist name and create the artist profile with wiki. This will be a problem for those who aren't Builders+ as they can't delete Wiki pages.

Also, the above check is intentional (issue #2717).

Created issue #3783.

Anyone else having problems with the bookmarklet setting the source wrong when uploading from Pixiv? For example instead of putting it as https://i.pximg.net/img-original/img/2018/07/24/21/45/27/69842465_p0.jpg it puts it as http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=69842465 The batch bookmarklet seems to be working fine though. I've seen it happen to others too.

It happens to me, but only if I use the bookmarklet on the post page instead of the raw image URL

Well that makes sense, but most people are gonna use it on the post page because it's faster.

EDIT: Made issue #3788

Updated

First, apologies if this is in the wrong thread, but I don't know if it's a site problem, a CSS script problem, a browser problem, or what. Please redirect me if this needs to go elsewhere.

I'm not sure when this started, as I just returned after a week's absence, but tonight I noticed some display difficulties with the Danbooru Miscellaneous Tweaks script. I have it set to display scores and favcounts under post thumbnails, but there appears to be a background-matching border around the thumbnails and/or other page elements, rendering that display partly or completely invisible. It consistently blocks the same portions of the text even when I reduce or enlarge the thumbnails. I've uploaded an example screen shot here. I'm running the latest version of the script in the latest version of Firefox on Mac (the only browser for which I've installed the script).

Put this in your Custom CSS:

.post-preview {
    height: 180px;
}

I've never manually edited CSS, I'm afraid. Do I have to do a file search for the Tweaks script, open it in an editing program, and drop in that block of code? Does it go at a specific point in the script?

I think he means to put that block of CSS in your "Custom CSS" settings in My Account > Settings > Advanced, at the bottom of the page.

Oh! Well, that's easy enough, thank you. I don't even have to worry about where to place it, since I have no other custom CSS in place.

My ignorance was showing again, but at least it's diminished by another scintilla or two.

Hi, it's my first time that I managed to upload something and I tried to upload a couple of pictures from both Pixiv and Twitter. However, when I click "submit" it says "Validation failed: Md5 confirmation doesn't match Md5".

Thank you, I hope you can help me on this issue.

This is a known issue if you try to upload a picture by uploading via file and having something in the source box, though I don't know if that's what you're trying to do.

Yes, it's exactly what I tried. What can I do to avoid this issue?

Would it be possible to change the "Permalink" on forum posts to use a "targeted" link instead of showing a single post?i.e. /forum_topics/9127#forum_post_85924instead of /forum_posts/85924I feel like it might be more useful to show the context of the post instead of having to hunt down exactly where in a thread a conversation was occurring. Or at least, change the "Parent" link on singleton forum posts to the "targeted" link instead of the first post of the thread?

edit: it already does, I'm just an idiot

So what happens now it's reported as fixed? Do I delete the old bookmarklet and bookmark it again?

You need to wait for albert to update the site and it will be fixed, it's Danbooru that fixes the source not the bookmarklet.
