email changing issue

Hi,

somehow I can't change my email address.

I make it blank by accident to change the password, now my email address is blank and if I enter old email address it error "Has already been taken"

how to fix this without entering new email address, I preferred old one.

And albert's only response was to ask what email I used, then close it (since I didn't respond fast enough, I guess?)

You should either DMail Albert or create a new issue.

Either way, try to provide as much information as possible, such as the exact steps you took leading up to the bug or the email address in question.

I don't know why my exact email address would be needed for Albert to fix it. And I already provided all the steps that lead to the bug:

1. I edited something in my settings that wasn't the email.
2. Error message showed up saying that email was already in use.
3. Next time I went to my settings, the email field was blank and I couldn't re-enter it without getting the same error.

This isn't a problem everyone is experiencing, as I can edit my settings without it getting rid of my email. I can also remove my email entirely, and then add it back later, without reproducing this bug.

It must be something tied to either your email or your account. If Albert doesn't know what either is, then he probably can't do much to fix it.
