A -finger_to_mouth shushing search show eight pages of results; people could find that both acts are mostly mutually exclusive. Personally, I think that way as well.

I guess I can agree with keeping them separate, though I do think there will be ambiguous cases.

Besides, one could shush with their finger at a distance from their mouth.
