The Tonari no Totoro character is the correct use. "Nekobus" is technically only a shortening of the full name of Shaa's circle (ねこバス停 "Nekobustei" or "Nekobasutei", translated as "A Cat Bus Stop" on the website). I believe Shaa is the only illustrator of the circle, so just using shaa should suffice.
