Text Coding: Drop Shadow

Posted under General

I'm attempting a gray drop-shadow effect on a note in post #1072996, but the only coding I can find to create the effect is CSS-based rather than HTML-based, and it gets stripped/sanitized when I save the note, even though the effect shows up in the Greasemonkey-based preview. Does a way to create this effect within Danbooru's current note coding parameters exist, or should I just not worry about it?

Pardon if this is already covered in another thread; my attempts at key word searches didn't uncover anything that already answers the question. Feel free to answer with a relevant link if I've managed to overlook the appropriate thread.

not sure how to replicate the effect exactly but according from this link from forum #22271 text-shadow is not among those permitted.

Tsk...I suspected as much, but hope springs eternal and all that.

Just a note: Danbooru 2 appears to sanitize input far more strictly than the current version Danbooru; not even images in notes (like those in post #447840) are permitted.

I didn't even know they were permitted here.

It is best to keep things simple.

Agreed, on the whole.
