kyubey - Gender (remove the genderswap tag from it)

Hi, I would like to propose that all "genderswap" is removed from all the kyubey images.

I've read the manga, the light novels and watched the anime and I can't recall ever seeing kyubey's gender being addressed.

Sounds good, since most cases you could just search kyubey personification. There's not so many posts that it would be difficult to just look for female versions (since most of the kyubey genderswap is of a female Kyubey).
Just make sure you don't take out genderswap when there's another character that is genderswapped in the picture.

Actually, it was kind of implied in the third episode when Mami uses the line in post #991197 in direct response to Kyuubey. It could've just been a general expression, I guess, but I thought I'd at least bring it up.

On the Blu-ray commentary it was pointed by Gen Urobuchi that Kyubey has no gender.

Agreed, genderless characters can't be genderswapped.

Mmmm, "may technically count" is a little wishy-washy, we should either remove that or clarify it. I still think it should be known-gender to known-gender but if we really want unknown to known to fall under genderswap, we just have to say so clearly.

If you are not sure of its gender, or if it has one at all, shouldn't a male personification be considered a genderswap as much as a female one?

I'm actually inclined to suggest disambiguating the tag to a pair of them like "male persona" and "female persona" that don't rely on the original gender. It's slightly less intuitive, but apparently it's also unintuitive for people to stop, think and realize that nobody ever said Kyubey or Lavos or the Pyro were male.

Might also be more correct for characters like ranma-chan and senou natsuru, who aren't genderswaps in quite the same way that Kyonko is (though I guess whether the genderswapping is canonical isn't part of our wiki definition.) Or tenko kuugen, who switches genders at a whim, though it appears no one's ever uploaded art of his/her/its male form.
