Is there any way this can be reinstated?
A very large number of the artists I've frequently been uploading the past six months or so have been coopted by new users lately who tend to upload right before I wake up or while I'm at work and can't access Danbooru. So a huge number of the things I try to upload lately (on the order of about 40% and rising) are duplicates at the time I try to upload them.
Sometimes I'll have added a tag that the original uploader who beats me to it did not, but danbooruup no longer (and hasn't since it changed how it dupe detects) appends my tag if it were missing in the original upload. I'm mostly talking about char/copy here, which are the ones I really care about and tend to actually do research on if I'm not sure. Example post #196047 I researched and tagged, and when I added them to danbooruup and got the dupe warning (15 minutes!), the tags (fortune_arterial and sendou_erika) weren't added and I had to type them again. Obviously, this can happen to anyone, not all my uploads are perfectly sourced either, so it would benefit all users of danbooruup. I'm just encountering an abnormally large number of it because of the number of times my uploads are dupes.
So, any way this feature can be revived? Yes I can copy the tags before sending and paste if needed, but I never remember, and if it could be automated again that would be great.
Edit: Oh, and I'd have to check and confirm but I'm not sure if it appends a source URL if one is missing either. I encounter that a lot too.
