Two similar tags

I have noticed that these very similar tags exist
gurren_lagann_tengen_toppa and tengen_toppa_gurren-lagann
The former has only 4 posts, and I was wondering which one is correct.

I didn't want to correct them silently because I wasn't sure about it.

tengen_toppa_gurren-lagann is the correct tag. I have no idea why anyone would make that other one, unless they were a total idiot.

The former makes no sense at all, the correct name is the latter. You can change them.

In this case, go with the one with more matches. The other one is a general-type tag.

Just a general note: you seem very opinionated about many things (and people). Whilst it's nothing bad to be opinionated in general (*cough*totallyunlikeme*cough*), it has a big potential of making discussions into fights, which is not a very healthy thing in the long run. If you could keep calling names down a little bit, it'd be appreciated.

Both of these have many images tagged as such, perhaps that is not a mistake?

Learn to use Google. A's is just one show in the Lyrical Nanoha series.

You can check the first post in a particular tag to see if it's in error, these two are both 2 years old so it's highly unlikely it's an error this old with over 2k posts.

This is intentional. Nanoha has three seasons:

mahou_shoujo_lyrical_nanoha
mahou_shoujo_lyrical_nanoha_a's
mahou_shoujo_lyrical_nanoha_strikers

In order for the first to be an umbrella for all Nanoha images, there are tag implications set. Thus anything tagged _a's gets the first, as does anything tagged _strikers. It's supposed to be like that. Gundam works the same way.
