I just created a public pool, http://miezaru.donmai.us/pool/show/77. Please place very low quality dupes that still have favouriters there, and add an appropriate comment. I will be visiting it periodically and purging entries old enough.

Um... I'm screwing up again, I just added a couple images that were low quality dupes, but had no favoriters. Also it seems impossible to delete from a public pool without being the owner...
post #17845 and post #19589 should probably be removed from the pool, as they don't fit the qualifications. Sorry about that.

Do favorites get deleted upon a posts deletion?
No, but it seems that the pic is no longer shown on the favourites page. Which makes it hard for people to notice they have deleted posts in their faves, which is why I made that pool in the first place.

But they were still deletion-worthy. Which I did.

I just tested it and they do show in favorites, but only in your own favorites pages. For example, post #158566 would not show in my favorites if I'm not logged in. But they won't show with fav:user search, which is the only way I ever use my favorites, so it sure is a pain to look for the deleted posts if you added them long ago.
[I've sticked the thread temporarily to make sure people see it. If I forget to take it down in a few days, feel free to]
People are using the pool, which is good, but I'd like to stress again how it's meant to be used:
1) If no-one has favourited the pic, do *not* add it to the pool. Just flag it for deletion
2) If you add a post, *add* a comment telling people to move their favs
If you don't observe 1) or 2), it creates more work for me, because I have to do extra reviews to see if pics actually have been favourited, and add the missing comments.
