Reasons for Post Rejection

Posted under General

Is there a way to know why a post you make is rejected? This is particularly a problem for me and other normal members since it's hard to know if something is a duplicate when one can only see safe posts. Up until now I've been assuming my rejected posts were duplicates, but it's also possible that there's another reason, so a way of notifying would be nice.

Yeah, I would like a way of notifying why I'm rejecting posts as well. Please report that issue on Trac.

Is it enough to just print the reason on the post/show page or should the deleted post be visible from post/index as well?

I find this to be a big issue. I've uploaded as much as i can since registering and only 3 have made it past the cut- two of which i cant see because of my status so i dont even know which they are.
Ideally, a little automated result form would be nifty. Maybe emailed to the user's account-specified email.
Something like:

Dear Danbooru-ite,
Your post (file name/auto-filled source) was rejected for the following reason(s):
[] Duplicate Entry (link unnecessary since you cant see it anyway)
[] Furry (Remember, ears and a tail are ok, but not actual fur)
[] Badly Drawn
[] Yaoi Content
[] Guro Content
[] Actual Child Porn (cops already otw)
[] Poorly drawn
[] Poor Compression
[] Obnoxious Watermark or Artifact Presence
[] Other (insert custom text field with explanation)
[] I hate you and would like to conjecture that your mother is a prostitute. (Optional)
