Pictures won't load?

Posted under General

I've never run into this problem before, anywhere. Any post I try to see, the picture won't load. Everything else loads... but the pic. -.-
Refreshing/reloading doesn't help.
It gives me a text description instead.

For instance, what I wanted to see:
http://hijiribe.donmai.us/post/show/42476/alien-father_and_daughter-good_end-harry_mason-hea

What I see...
"alien father_and_daughter good_end harry_mason heather_mason henry_townshend james_sunderland lead_pipe lowres silent_hill silent_hill_2 silent_hill_3 silent_hill_4" etc etc etc

Help?

What if you're using danbooru.donmai.us and get either 'broken' images (colors screwing up and parts of the image shifting either right or left) or the text description (like the OP did)?

It's only doing this for full-size images, might I add. (And only when I'm logged in...)

Edit 2: Images still loading as a text description of the tags or with shifted/altered colors after the maintenance/server move/whatever it was. Clearing the cache and history has done nothing.

Most likely your ISP is caching things over-aggressively. You say it's only showing up for full-size images, which supports that; if you force-reload the page for an image large enough to have a sample version, you'll only reload the sample, not the full-size file.

To get around this, open the full-size image directly: "View Image" on the broken full-size one, or use the link from the "Size" part of the Statistics sidebar section. Make sure your address bar says danbooru.donmai.us/data/<hexstring>.jpg (or .png or whatever), and doesn't have "sample" in it anywhere. Force-reload that (usually either Shift or Ctrl while clicking on the Reload button).

If that still doesn't work, you could view the full-size image directly from hijiribe or sonohara (change the "danbooru" part of the server name to one of them). It won't fix images on the /post/view pages (they always point to just "danbooru"), but it'll at least let you see that one without corruption.
