Or not. I just want feedback. There's some inherent violence meant with tackle, while glomp is more friendly. However I've yet to find a tackle post where glomp wouldn't equally apply. There's post #527239 as a possible exception but I don't even think tackle should have applied either.
-1 to this. A tackle really means offensively slamming one's body into another's body, such as in hockey or American football. Glomps, while outwardly sharing some vague similarities to tackles, look quite different. A glomp is more of a hug with momentum.
I think tackle most definitely should apply to post #527239, as that pose is characteristic of the classic shoulder tackle.
Pikachu, Kyonko, the gundam, and Takoluka currently in tackle are definitely tackles and not glomps. Move the rest and write/modify the wiki articles pointing out which to use when.
