I believe ambiguious is just there to warn you if you use the tag to make sure you used the correct tag because it may mean multiple things. I would mark portrait ambiguous even if we sort everything in forum #44394.

Well, only if we decide that 1) there are zero images that would fall under "baton" rather than anything else and 2) we don't need to use it as an umbrella tag for an implication.
If we don't need to do either (seems like the case here), then yes you can remove baton, keeping the nice wiki of course.
