Couldn't upload anything

I tried uploading two new pictures for a few minutes now, but it seems that I get a failbooru after a few minutes instead. Anybody get this same problem? Last upload here (post #657780) is 2 hours since this forum post.

I think everyone having that problem. The part of the server that allows uploading pictures is down right now. Don't know why or how it got down though.

I can't either. Funny that I can still "find similar".

"Find similar" is actually an external service Piespy had set up that has been linked into Danbooru's interface. It usually works when parts of Danbooru don't.

http://hijiribe.donmai.us appears to be down. This is why uploads are failing - the last step of the upload process is to distribute the file to both servers.

I've sent an email to the hosting company.

Yes, if the DNS resolves to hijiribe it'll fail.

You can use http://sonohara.donmai.us directly for now.

Server is back up. You can upload again.

Just for the record, no you can't, because all the image URLs inserted still point to danbooru and not to sonohara. So you get the HTML, and then you get images or you don't. This should be fixed if it's in fact intended to serve as any kind of sensible failover.
