Also, why are we using "pretty_cure" and not "precure" or "pricure"? It's プリキュア, not プリティキュア or プリッティキュア.

I'd say we still stick to the original canonical romanization. If they decide to change things post-facto, it's not really our responsibility to reflect that, especially if it breaks consistency with the earlier series.

"PreCure" is still an abbreviation for "Pretty Cure".

I'd suggest a precure → futari_wa_pretty_cure alias.

I was going to say that myself, since it feels very much in the same vein as "sukuran" is to "school rumble" and "aimasu" is to "idolmaster.

The difference is that "precure/purikyua/プリキュア" is actually the accepted title in addition to being an officially sanctioned abbreviation.

I still think it makes more sense to go with the original canonical romanized title for our purposes, especially since it was originally intended to stand for English words.

I think I agree with sticking to pretty_cure.
