I wouldn't bet on it. And while this isn't the answer you're looking for, I think you'll just have to settle with discontinuing your use of the site. I don't think anyone's going to make an exception for you here.
Also, why exactly do you want to delete your account? I'm not saying wanting to do that is wrong, but I'm just curious.
The only person who has the ability to delete your account is albert, the site owner. You'll have to ask him.
But yeah, I'm not sure what your concern is. The only things associated with your account are a few comments and tag edits. You can delete your comments yourself, and the tag edits shouldn't be a big deal.

Wow, I knew these laws were in the works, but I didn't think that they'd actually be passed.
Hmm, and I used to think it was a foregone conclusion that most of the free world would take Google's side (free speech and free information) in the Google vs. China tiff regarding their national firewall. Instead it looks like Australia and the UK are poised to implement firewalls of their own. Sounds sort of Orwellian to me.
