Hundred dollar bill implies dollar bill

BUR #49081 has been rejected.

mass update 10000_yen_note -> banknote yen -10000_yen_note

All or nothing, I think that one should go too. We may already have the equivalent but it doesn't mean we need to keep either of them, in my opinion. I have Yen as one of the added tags but the wiki isn't really clear if it's for all Japanese money or only for the symbol so I don't know how much sense this makes or if it should only add banknote.

If the bill matters, there's already banknote and dollar bill tagged on it. What value does hundred dollar bill add to this post? Additionally, since Damian brought up the existence of 10000 yen note, I figured right away someone would use the justification of "another already exists so why not this" which is why I wrote a nuke for that one too.

"It's harmless" gives me a serious case of déjà vu to font tagging.

$100 is the highest bill in American currency the whole point of the image is that she's rich enough it doesn't matter that she wastes the money lighting her cigarette, the same joke doesn't work if it's a one dollar bill (unless it's a joke about a poor character wanting to seem cool or something I guess, but again it would evoke a different feeling). post #3997807 is another display of opulence which doesn't work with a lesser bill.

Ok but there's like 100+ countries with their own currency. This sounds extremely America centric, why don't we make tags at that point for every country including ones with absurd bill denominations like 1 million dollar bills.

There's a 5000 yen note tag as well.

Since it's one single post, I'll just adhere to the decision of the BURs above. Don't want to overcrowd the topic where discussion could be happening by constantly appending new BURs to nuke random single-digit tags of no significance.

Dollar bill is for all U.S. currency. Who's looking at the tags for the joke to land? And that's only if you know this currency. I'm not American, I don't.

This is a mistag. Hundred dollar bill is only for the U.S. hundred dollar bill.

How much art do we have of other countries currency? We have 10000_yen_note as stated above and I would support any other large currency tags for similar concepts if we have them, how else are you supposed to pick them out of the 3.3k banknote tag?

Probably quite a few. post #8263896 is obviously the 5000 won and 10000 won note, post #5183402 is a 100 yuan note, post #3596841 has what appears to be the 50 and 20 canadian dollar notes, post #5915854 has a parody of the 1000 mexican peso note...

I'd support the creation of tags for them, it's ridiculous to expect people to sift through 3000 post to find their countries currency. I don't know of we need total granularity but I think the "Big Bills" are usually important so on top of South Korean Won or something like that I'd also support the highest denomination of bill getting a tag if there are enough posts of it.

No I'm not going to garden it, I just support the creation of tags people will actually search unlike banknote.

Can't wait for font tags round 2 if these tags are allowed to proliferate. I think it's ridiculous every small detail of a post needs to be categorised like this. I don't think the people specifically searching specific currencies is significant, if any at all.

BUR #51011 is pending approval.

create implication hundred_dollar_bill -> high_denomination
create implication 10000_yen_note -> high_denomination
create implication 10000_yen_note -> yen
create implication 10000_yen_note -> banknote

imo 100 dollar bill and the yen one is useful because the tags will probably be about having lots of money instead of just being about the bill, so how about this instead?
