Oekaki Musume 2009

There's this new contest/event going on right now on pixiv called お絵描き娘2009 (Oekaki Musume 2009). Should we tag them like we did for previous pixiv events like the pixiv_shadow, pixiv_fantasia, etc.? If yes, what could be a good tag? oekaki_musume_2009? or maybe add a _(pixiv) to not confuse others that might think its some sort of new anime or something.

I like pixiv_oekaki_musume_2009. I suppose the 2009 part is optional if the event happens next year.

I was thinking probably pixiv_oekaki_musume or just oekaki_musume. I don't think the year is really needed.

oekaki_musume and original, since they are original designs, I'd say.

I think a pool might be better for this one, personally. pixiv fantasia is a full-blown setting and I think pixiv shadow is as well, but this just looks like a contest to draw pictures of girls painting.

Should the pixiv tag be applied to the images? It can help with finding the images once the decision on what to do with them is decided.

Tried doing some paint/painting/pencil etc searches and started adding the oekaki_musume tag, though theres probably more untagged around.

Actually, pixiv_fantasia is completely meaningless, and we've been talking with スラッシュ recently about removing it. The thing is that there's absolutely no theme to it and the label is fully arbitrary with zero informational value. There's no common setting, because it was supposed to create the setting itself. There are no rules, no overlap, it's just a huge anything goes. Thus I'd support doing completely away with it and just aliasing pixiv_fantasia → original.

I'd call it more of a set of original drawings than something worthy of a copyright tag. I say we should dump oekaki_musume into a pool and then alias the tag to original.

To support this, there was a striped_panties drawing contest over the summer I think sponsored by Dengeki Moeoh tagged as 萌王イラコン on Pixiv, and everything that's been uploaded to Danbooru from those images is just tagged as original. The same with a dragon_girl drawing contest sponsored by Dragon Magazine tagged イラコンドラマガ on Pixiv. I don't see why this would be any different.

Agree that there's no common thread at all, really. I think we could alias it to pixiv though, rather than just original.

I would have put them together also, i remember the dragon girl one, and even though you could simply search for monster_girl original, it would have been nice to have a tag or a pool to put them all together.

As for the Oekaki Musume, I'd say pool 'em.

Pixiv_fantasia already has an implication to pixiv, though, so it's a moot point. :I

If there werent so many artists with _(pixiv) on them, it'd be nice to just let these projects be tags and add a _(pixiv) at the end.
