This is an image site, so yes, contributing images is a good way to get invited =P

As long as they're good images of course.

Yea the only thing I was worried about was posting things that were already on here, and the one upload at a time is a bummer cause I have hundreds of images.

I was worried about the same thing :P

Good thing someone else asked before me XD

You can only upload 16 in a day anyway until you get an invite, so take it one step at a time.

It's better not to flood anyway.

do you have an off site link to one of your immages, id like to see it

Danbooru seems to be mostly against subjectivity, (c.f. the 'what' and 'vip-quality' tag debates), but there seems to be something inherently subjective about deleting things for drawing quality as opposed to technical quality (size, compression, artifacts, etc).

I can see why it should be unacceptable to post random things you drew yourself, or macros & photoshops from your local *chan, or things definably outside the site's purpose (non-anime, furry, guro, etc). However, provided an image is properly sourced and tagged from an artist that the site has already accepted, I don't see why anything should be deleted for a subjective reason such as low quality.

I'm probably against the current consensus by thinking this, because I've had a couple images deleted myself for poor quality, where other images by the same artist passed.

I'm not sure what could or should be changed, but it seems that more objective rules for quality would be desirable, so it's easier to determine what is acceptable and what isn't.

I mostly agree, which is why I rarely, very rarely reject something for 'quality' grounds. But you're right, the consensus seems to be somewhat different.

I do think there are some points where quality can be a reason, but not nearly as often as I sense it's being used by other mods.

There's plenty of reason not to accept images for quality reasons. And I can see why, judging from what Shinjidude uploads, that some of it was rejected. I'd be nice if more of it was, so I wouldn't have to look at it. (edit: by which I mean 10 PAGES of CRAPPY GHIBLI PORN all posted in ONE DAY)

I'm sorry that you didn't like them. I thought they were good (at least the Princess Mononoke ones). The other sets were admitedly older and not as of high quality as the initial ones I posted, but I didn't think they were bad. If I did I wouldn't have posted them. Ghibli hentai is rather rare though, so I thought it would be good to share.

Moreover, I definitely wouldn't have posted all of it if I hadn't been able to hide most of the redundant ones with parent tags, so that people that weren't interested wouldn't have as much to wade through. I parented things as I went so as to not inflate things more than necessary. I was encouraged by the fact that they were being translated as I posted them.

Again, I'm sorry to have offended you with my postings. If you would like to be constructive though, let me know exactly made them so crappy, so I can remedy it in the future. Perhaps I just have no taste.

If it is within the rules and doesn't get deleted, don't worry about. Someone somewhere is bound to dislike what you post. That's their problem.

If multiple people all at once complain, *then* it becomes your problem, potentially.

I have no problem with the content (by which I mean Ghibli characters) (even though they're not very good character designs for ero images). But whoever drew them isn't a good artist. Try uploading good images next time. Or, ignore my complaints, keep doing what you're doing, and I'll just vote it down as I see it (or not; not all of your uploads are bad, which is why I haven't blacklisted you yet).

All Ghibli hentai is by definition crappy, and that you uploaded was particularly offensive and ewwww. And it's largely a matter of philosophical principles, I for one don't understand how you could possibly not mind hentai of works you value and respect (let alone actively *seek* it, which half of the internet seems to be dedicated to).

You don't like it, which is fine, but surely it's not exactly rocket science to *understand* why others might want it.
