create alias top/bottom_dynamic_annotated -> uke_and_seme
create alias top_and_bottom_dynamics -> uke_and_seme

Not directly related to the BUR, but I saw that post #1334792 and post #1334794 had the top/bottom dynamic annotated tag added to them, so I added a note to the wiki that the tag can be used for posts like those too. I think that's a natural conclusion, especially if it gets renamed to uke and seme.
If anyone disagrees it can be reverted, but that might result in mistagging (and might be a consideration in whether this BUR should be approved.)
uke and seme is too vague. The idea of the tag is that the uke and seme are actually labelled, not just that the image contains an uke and a seme.

create alias top/bottom_dynamic_annotated -> top/bottom_dynamic
create alias uke_and_seme -> top/bottom_dynamic
create alias tachi_and_neko -> top/bottom_dynamic
Alternative.
I agree with the sentiment behind the BUR, but if this tag is getting used for yuri as well as yaoi, it shouldn't be called uke and seme. Those terms are almost completely exclusive to yaoi, and are almost never seen in yuri. The corresponding terms actually used in yuri and IRL by Japanese lesbians are "tachi" and "neko."
there is a reason why the original tag name was so unwieldy. i do not trust people to understand immediately that "top and bottom" refers to sexual preference or relationship dynamic
top and bottom? shirt and pants. top and bottom? above and below. and so on
i was more willing to accept seme and uke, however i might also be agreeing with mock here
I feel like if uke_and_seme is too vague, top/bottom_dynamic has the same issue (both tags run the risk of non-wiki-readers not understanding that the tag is only for when characters are actually labeled as that or something similar.)
If we want to avoid that, I think a name like labeled_sexual_role or annotated_sexual_role would work best. While they're not always meant to communicate sexual roles in the illustrations themselves, the terminology that we're looking to tag here does have a sexual origin, generally speaking.

uke/seme and top/bottom are established terms for the concepts. Making up our own terms for this instead of using existing ones won't help anyone.
It's not the established terms in the proposed tags that bother me, it's the point that mock made:

Split it into two tags if you like, labeled_uke and labeled_seme. As long as the tags aren't four words long, and also properly describe what they are for, so people won't add them to random pictures where the characters look like they have a top/bottom dynamic but aren't labeled.
bottom_(sexual_preference) and top (sexual preference) already exist
BUR #37814 has been rejected.
rename top/bottom_dynamic_annotated -> annotated_top/bottom_dynamic
create alias annotated_seme/uke_dynamic -> annotated_top/bottom_dynamic
create alias annotated_tachi/neko_dynamic -> annotated_top/bottom_dynamic

I think these tags can still exist alongside each other. A tag for posts like post #6450422 is distinct from one for post like post #8862207 but it does mean this one needs the "annotated" in the name even if it looks unwieldy. Might as well alias the other words for it while I'm here. Also switching the word order because personal preference.
BUR #37815 has been rejected.
create alias seme_(sexual_preference) -> top_(sexual_preference)
create alias tachi_(sexual_preference) -> top_(sexual_preference)
create alias uke_(sexual_preference) -> bottom_(sexual_preference)
create alias neko_(sexual_preference) -> bottom_(sexual_preference)
Also I noticed these also didn't have any aliases.
Not having "annotated" in the tag just means people will use this tag for any picture showing a top/bottom relationship, despite the tag specifically being for annotated versions.
I don't know if we need the individual tags though, these concepts tend to be drawn together, so it feels like overkill to have 3 tags for the same thing in each picture.
