JUST CURIOUS:
On each Pixiv artist's page, right underneat their profile pic, there's a "good ☺" button. When you click on it, it pops out "ポイント不足です" one character per click, which as far as I can tell, is making fun of my penis ("Point fusoku desu", or "insufficent points(?)"). What is this? It goes on to mention something about signing up for a premium account.

Honestly? NIPPON IS ICHIBAN, and that is another instance of that. I've long given up on trying to understand their software, wobsites included. Pixiv is just a convenient repository of source uploads for us anyway, at least as far as I'm concerned. Everything else they do is about as relevant as youtube comments.
If I remember correctly (this was pieced together a while ago mind you by a person with no Japanese skill who didn't really care too terribly much), a Pixiv premium account gives you a certain amount of points, which you can grant to artists as you see fit and give them access to...something.
It's nothing negative towards them.
