One's a romanization, the other's an actual name. They're both technically correct, so they should be aliased.

While we're at it, I'm concerned about tagging pics with either pecha or petya with his other identity, mao_(darker_than_black).

Mass edit is good enough. As for the spoiler, it's (IMO) minor, and is revealed after a mere two episodes, so I don't think it matters too much.

For tagging purposes, I don't think it's a good idea to add the mao-tag the petya posts, even if they are the same character per se, as visually they're totally different characters and that's what should matter when tagging.

Adding the mao tag to petya posts would just pollute the original mao(cat) -tag, and presumably anyone who'd want pictures of squirrel-mao would know what tag to look for from watching the series in either case.
