Tag Alias: arufa -> alpha_(artist)

arufa -> alpha_(artist)

If you check the Wiki for alpha_(artist), you'll notice that the artist has an alternate name: arufa

I've made the mistake of recently tagging an upload of mine by this artist as arufa, and I noticed a few others have, too (which I fixed). So I think this is a suitable candidate for aliasing. The artist also has another name, ariha, that's been used in the past. But I'm not sure if it should be aliased or not.

Thoughts?

No. Never alias a tag to something with a "_(artist)" qualifier. If an "alpha_(somethingelse)" came along, an alias like that would make the artist renaming process a pain.

So is there anything else that can be done in this situation? I'm not saying I think there has to be an alias -- I know that not everything has to be aliased purely for the sake of it, or ease of use -- but I'm curious about how this would/should be handled.

And taking Moose's advice, I've created a new thread for my tag suggestion here: forum #28245. Sorry about the alias+suggestion smooshing I've been doing lately.

No more painful than renaming any other tag. But if there's a qualifier that could be used instead (leaving it just alpha seems like a potentially bad idea) then that would be preferable. But in theory, alpha_(artist) is no worse a potential conflict than canaan_(character). It's more *likely*, but the correction process would be the same.

Though it's the alpha_(artist) tag that already exists and arufa doesn't seem to be in use (except as something bapa typed in incorrectly a few times) so an alias doesn't seem critical or anything. The question is more if change alpha_(artist) to something else.
