Ability to change backround colour!

can you please make it so that we can change the colour. this site is awesome but i find the white is too bright for me.

can you make it so that we can change it to a variety of colours like black / blue / green etc. just plain colours nothing special

I use Stylish for Firefox to change the background color and such. Currently I have everything black. The only downside is that this overrides the background color changes when you change tag modes, so I wind up accidentally applying tag scripts to things because I forget I'm not in View mode. =P Then again I'd accidentally do that even before I changed the background color, so...

is there a way of getting ALL webpages in black using this stylish thing. thats the one thing i hate about the web - everything is a depressing white

Hey, some of us have big huge bright monitors in dark rooms (external light sources drive me nuts when using a computer), so white can be physically painful sometimes. =P

And avp2501, every site will be different in how it's constructed, so you'd have to set them individually. Sometimes just setting a general {background-color: black!important;} isn't going to make any sense, and may indeed make the site unreadable.

I mainly use Stylish for here, and video sites. It's nice to reduce YouTube to absolutely nothing aside from the minimum necessary navigation and a video window.

You do need to know some basic CSS to use Stylish, otherwise you need to find pre-written styles for the page in question. I don't know what kind of styles exist for Danbooru.

Seriously though, just google it next time. I just typed in "firefox apps to change background color" and bam, lots of links. Happy browsing.

In Opera you can set the page style to "High Contrast (W/B)", it sets all fonts to white and the background to black, unconditionally. Though you do lose the tag colors too that way.

I've had my default background color as a certain shade of grey since the days of Netscape 2.x, so I really didn't even realize that most people see it in white.
