Really, with those images, it's not the resolution that's getting most people in the twist; it's the filesize.
And that gets covered (for the most part) with huge_filesize. At least it's an indicator to the average user that it's going to be a semi-long wait for that particular image to load.
That said, the 100MB image from a few days ago really was quite silly.

I have no idea. Personally, I agree that we only need two.
Dunno if it really helps, but the discussion that lead to the creation of the incredibly_absurdres tag is on post #428115 (for me, the image doesn't even load).
Speaking of the highres, absurdres, etc tags...shouldn't we change them to "high_resolution", "absurd_resolution", etc? Maybe as aliases since highres, etc have been in use on Danbooru for so long, but using the full words and not running them together fits better with the way virtually all other tags are done.
