Pooling Niichi's comics

Posted under General

On Pixiv, Niichi (Komorebi-Palette) groups all of his original comics (with the exception of pool #11332) as a single series called "少女アラカルト" (Shoujo à la carte). This series contains both one-shot stories and long-running stories with both named and unnamed characters. Sometimes characters from one long-running story interact with characters from another (post #3146855) or visit a location from another (post #3374402). Niichi has released books collecting the stories of this series.

On Danbooru, the series is split between pools and post relationships. Most of the one-shots are their own pool, but several of the shorter ones are parent/child grouped. One long-running story is its own pool (pool #14310), another is a series of interconnected pools (pool #10137, pool #10231, and pool #10366), another has a pool or parent/child for each chapter with no hyperlinks between them (beginning with pool #12689).

How should this be handled? Should Shoujo a la carte be considered Niichi's universe, with the substories pooled according to which couple they follow, and one-shots as their own pools? Or should it be considered a big story with various subplots, and all be combined like it is on Pixiv and in the books (refer to the table of contents in the sample here)? Or should it be organized another way?
