This is the most common shortened version, ff14 is already there, and most of the other ff games have the roman short versions already added.

EDIT: The tag alias ffxiv -> final_fantasy_xiv (forum #152146) has been rejected by @Hillside_Moose.

Typing ffx in the tag box already brings Final Fantasy XIV up as the top result so I don't see the point in this alias.
