[REJECTED] Tag implication: heart-shaped_box -> box

Don't know.
What if it's already opened (and more or less destroyed) like in post #2110926? It may have been a gift once but it honestly doesn'T look like the classic gift box you get on Christmas...
Maybe there are also other image but i couldn't find an example: What if it's just a selling item in a shop?

I don't see how a gift box stops being a gift box just because it's opened or damaged. Does a grocery bag cease to be a grocery bag when there are no groceries in it?

The only problem I see with a heart-shaped_box -> gift_box implication is the vagueness of the gift_box tag. Is it only meant for boxes wrapped with paper and ribbons like those given for Christmas and birthdays? If so, a lot of heart-shaped_box gift_box posts are mistagged.

Also, what's with the gift tag? Does this tag make gift_box redundant?

From the gift wiki:

I think that's outdated or not thought to the end...:/.
A gift shouldn't make any statement about the way it's received. It's completely unimportant if a gift is received in a box, bag or as a bouquet. If something is meant as a gift is mostly clear from the context of an image.

I think post #3020519 should be another image where a heart-shaped box isn't necessarily a gift box. While it seems to be cleared and the request changed, I think it should still get mentioned...

I changed the gift box clause in heart-shaped box to be just box instead in order to allow for non-gift boxes to be included. I still don't see how in the world a heart-shaped box is used for anything other than gifting, but what do I know? :/

From the gift wiki:
Any box wrapped in plain or patterned paper and decorated with ribbons.

I just updated the gift wiki to state, "Any box, bag, or container..." since I've been cleaning up the gift bag tag to differentiate it from sack. There could be other types of containers like jars or bottles that we haven't thought of that could contain presents, so I made that change to open up those possibilities.
