Asparagus reporting in, most of Russian providers suddenly decided to cut access to Danbooru again. Mine is still okay, but maybe they just don't work this late at night. Anyway, if tomorrow I find myself blocked from you guys I wanted to say that I've had a lot of fun with you. It was a great time and I'm gonna miss it ;_;

Panic mode? The site is accessible for me and everyone I checked on. Well, in the worst case, the block is not hard to bypass at all.

Because loli. According to Wikipedia Russia blacklists sites that contain "child pornography, materials advocating drug abuse and production, and materials advocating suicide". Russia is not the first country to block Danbooru either.

I looked up hijiribe.donmai.us and sonohara.donmai.us on the website for the blacklist (http://eais.rkn.gov.ru/) and nothing come up, so maybe those still work?

VPN or even proxy is enough to bypass it, actually. Luckily, my ISP uses DPI and blocks only the specified pages, not the entire host or IP address like some do. In latter case hijiribe and sonohara also would not work.

E: aaaand my access was also blocked right as I wrote that, lol. wWell, back to the proxy.

Phew, still up but extremely slow. I wonder if that's a premonition of the end or jhx updating something.

You can if the proxy allows cookies. The problem is that you expose your login&password and browsing history to proxy owner. The first problem can be avoided if you use https, though.

Is account hijacking a noticeable problem for dedicated proxies?

You weren't the only one. At the time, only Hijiribe felt normal.

I encountered failboorus earlier, just before I posted here. Maybe it was server or global routing problem, danbooru subdomain works fine again.

I could swear I read this exact same forum thread several months ago.

Yeah, actually the officials decided to go apeshit again and I panicked a little. Providers that used to ignore the ban before submitted this time, and it seems that mine is the only one left atm.

Are you really sure about being the only one?

Well, aside from my Beeline evererything esle denies access, at least those providers that people I asked use.

Well, I have Beeline too, but some people from other providers still have access.
