I don't think we need a copytag for each season, especially when most of the anime characters have so few posts to begin with. I think it would be best in most cases to have a tag for each arc, which would be separated by main character/cast. For example:

• Duel Masters (Classic): Kirifuda Shoubu
• Duel Masters Victory: Kirifuda Katta (elementary school)
• Duel Masters VS: Kirifuda Katta (middle school)

The only exception I can think of that might be feasible is having a separate copytag for Duel Masters Cross that implicates Duel Masters (classic) for the Cross and Cross Shock outfits (post #1132625).
