At first, the anime series was created to promote the game,

This statement is inconsistent with the producers' words in this article (『けものフレンズ』を立ち上げたきっかけは、吉崎観音さんのイラストと世界観を使った「IP(知的財産権)」を創出するのが目的だったんです。なので、大本はアニメやゲーム、映画を作るのが目的ではないんです。 ... 一般のイメージは、ゲームを売るためにアニメを販促として放送するイメージだと思うんです。我々が「この作品はそうじゃないから」といくら説明しても、...), so I'll remove the sentence.

Came across the folded leg tag and wondered if there's any need for such a ambiguous tag. There's no wiki for it either, so I don't know if it's referring to a specific thing or not.

It seems redundant to legs folded, which is described as "one or both knees bent fully so that the calf of the leg is folded up against the thigh". One could argue that we need to distinguish between the singular leg and plural legs, which is what I'm assuming @CodeKyuubi is thinking.

Either of these tags is still better than bent knees, though, which seemingly gets used for every position from kneeling to wariza to knees up to fetal position to frogtie. It's so vague as to be useless.

I rewrote the nude wiki. I feel like the previous version was overly complicated in how it explained the guidelines. The basic rule is simple: a character is nude if their torso is unclothed. I tried to revise it to make it more concise and more explicit as to when the tag should and should not be used.

It looks like topic #9775 was when it was last discussed, so most of the guidelines originate from there.

Since it mentions "from neck to crotch", posts like post #193773 and post #296103 should not be tagged nude, right? (I don't think they should)

I would not use it since she is still wearing the bikini top or shirt. It's just pulled upwards.
Should in my opinion be tagged with clothes_lift, breasts_outside and bottomless.

About the bare_* tags, more specifically bare_shoulders:
Just cleared up the bare_shoulders nude search and I wondered sometimes if the bare_shoulders tag should also be removed from posts where the characters are only wearing a bikini, swimsuit or bra (example: post #2804174)

No. If they're wearing clothing on their upper body, then the tag can be used. The exceptions ar ethere because in those cases the "bare shoulders" are just a small part of the character being either topless/shirtless or nude.

Edited the short_hair wiki to include information about medium_hair.
Looks like it has used outdated information until now.

(Wanted to mention it since it's a rather big tag)

Has medium hair reached this level of general acceptance? At the time of topic #13782, there were calls to delete the tag, and there was never any consensus about whether to keep it or not.

Don't know if ithis was discussed before, but I have a question about the naked_shirt tag:

Right now, the search no_bra naked_shirt is fairly populated. But it seems kinda redundant to me to include the no bra to this, because naked shirt already says that the character only wears this. So why adding a no bra tag?
The same also applies to no_panties naked_shirt.
I think the wiki of these tags should be updated.

No bra is potentially useful for distinguishing images where the bra is obviously absent (post #2768775) from those where its absence is merely implied (post #2581109).

I see.
And well, the tag currently still exists and the concensus goes more towards keeping it. I think if concensus to remove it will be reached then this change can be easily reverted.

About striped_clothes, like striped_bikini or striped_legwear: Should a striped bikini be tagged with the colors the stripes have?
For example the red_bikini white_bikini search results in a lot Nero Claudius posts, but she's wearing a striped bikini and not a mono-red or mono-white bikini.
There are also post that are only tagged with striped_bikini and no color_bikini: post #2823440 (and many more)

Since nearly all striped bikinis have white parts in them, it seems that this practive would water down the white_bikini tag at least..

I only tag colour on striped objects (be it panties, bikinis, or just bows) when one of the colours have thicker stripes than the others or if the stripes are just different shades of the same colour. Not sure if this is the preferred method.

This conversation made me wonder exactly how post #2835402 should be tagged in terms of colour/pattern.

I've started tagging posts like the above with "mismatched" plus the individual colors for top and bottom. There really is no pattern on them though. So for the post you linked, I'd use:

I already fixed the above tags...

But you removed the individual colour tags for the bottom, or do those not apply for the skirt? And since both the top and bottom contains pink I wasn't sure if I should use pink bikini or pink bikini top/bottom. And you can actually see some polka dots above the skirt and at the top and bottom part of the bandeau but not sure if it's enough to tag.

I haven't been tagging individual colors for multicolored clothing. One primary reason is that it would pollute the instances of solid colors.

And since both the top and bottom contains pink I wasn't sure if I should use pink bikini or pink bikini top/bottom.

The top and bottom are handled separately, and if both are the same (or mostly the same), then it gets tagged with *_bikini. Otherwise it gets tagged mismatched_bikini + *_bikini_top + *_bikini_bottom

And you can actually see some polka dots above the skirt and at the top and bottom part of the bandeau but not sure if it's enough to tag.

I wouldn't... when people search for a pattern, they want to see a prevalence of that pattern and not just trimming. I did however leave the polka dot tag since the vest has that pattern.
