Tag for all images that originally contained non-English text that was rendered into English. That includes:

• Originally Japanese (or other non-English language) pictures with translation notes
• Pictures as above with translations edited in and replacing the original text (scanlations & friends)

The latter falls under the hard translated tag (see forum #25320 for discussion), which implies this one.

This tag does *not* apply to posts with incomplete and unfinished translations, those use partially translated.

Additionally, it's okay to leave out the tag on posts with very small and insubstantial notes, such as single onomatopoeia that could just as well go untranslated. Anything more than that should be tagged. See also forum #2465.

If you are adding a translation you are not sure of, include the check translation tag along with the translated tag.

If you are not sure about translating, use the translation request tag.
