And that's it for now, until at leasts some of the previous ones get approved. Hope people like it, this is a doujin I've wanted to see translated for ages.

IINM… Reimu and Marisa got posessed by vengeful spirits who want to take on Orin for how she treated the dead. They chased her around the mountain. The cat still beat them all though.

I understand the sentiment, but I wouldn't let Chado's interpretation of her in one story ruin a character for you. He portrayed her in a more sympathetic light in 2010's "Core"... and then there are the gobs of other good stories with her available right here. It's not as if she doesn't learn anything from this, either... at the end, she makes sure to squash the 2nd victim's hopes.

At a guess...
This comic is showing Orin doing what she's been asked to do by Satori. She carts off the bodies of the dead or near-dead to regulate the old Hell. I think, anyway. But regardless, she takes the dead and near-dead without caring if they have a final request since she's a youkai and doesn't have to care about such things. In most comics, Orin's shown to have at least some sort of moral compass and that's what set Zelo off. This Orin doesn't appear to have one.
Of course, I'm guessing, so all of this is basically hearsay.
Ah I see. I usually place youkai morals on a sliding scale and swing it around wildly to determine what I think about them (read: anything usually goes) so I didn't really see anything out of place with her actions.
I'm also one of the people that can accept any characterization since I've got my own version in my head that pretty much can't be ruined by what other people depict them as.
But I'm rambling, go on with your awesome reading.
