if you had told me nichijou was made by the same person as azumanga daioh you could have fooled me. until i looked it up and and saw that it wasnt.

Not only does she reminds me of Osaka but Yuuko reminds me of Tomo and likewise with Mai-chan and Chiyo-chan

Everytime I see Nichijou I imagine Azumanga Daioh universe where everyone has a little Osaka sitting in their heart. lol

Shortly I think that Nichijou sees to be:
Azumanga at fullest, + Pani Poni Dash minus popculture jokes totally (while keeping the craziness) + little bits of Yotsuba, Lucky Star and K-On.

Let's accept it, Nichijou is every school slice of life manga (including Cromarite) mixed toghether. Bonus points for Mai being so much like the fandom version of Homura from Madoka.
