In the end, even Reiji was cool with Aoki and Rin hooking up. Reiji even investigated Aoki at great depth and still was for it.

In Japan the marriage age is 16, no? By the end of the series she's 15, almost 16 -- and as pointed out earlier, she looks almost identical to what she looked liked while she was Aoki's student.
