That's not entirely true though. Rinnosuke manages a monopoly in Gensokyo, so ALL food branches of his monopoly will meet it's fateful end, but not the entirety of his business. But, it's a huge blow concerning "financial" issues.
For people wondering about why Meiling is standing there, it's obviously because this strip is a communist propaganda that shows the futility of capitalism in the face of the ever-devouring gluttony of human greed. The setting red sun is a fitting metaphor for the tragic fall of communism.
"But ChaoticKen," you may say, "isn't the red sun a symbol of Japan and not communism?" To which I will reply, no and yes at the same time. It's a prophecy of the communist revolution that will overtake Japan - if you take a close look, the white background that Japan's red sun rests on is slowly being overtaken by red.
"But ChaoticKen," you may ask, "don't your points completely contradict each other? Is it capitalism that's failing or communism? Is Meiling a sign of the communism that has fallen already or is she the triumphant symbol of communism watching over the fall of capitalism? Is Rinnosuke solemnly walking towards the sun because he is embracing communism, or is there some other deep meaning behind it?" To which I will say, stop poking holes in my logic, you fucker.

If there is someone that want it~ electronic in Genkosyo ?_?
Mannosuke in the 4th and 5th panel....Crowning Moment of Awesome. I think the reason why Meiling is there is becuase she like like "I'm cool too". Like she is trying to be part of the cool scene going on.
