I thought that was Suwako laughing at the fact Kanako was being called the God of Eggs. The ground in the last panel should be her gathering material to make her own proxy body.
I'm amused at the choice for Suwako's laughter. "Kera-kera" is normally just a cackling laugh, with no specific link to a frog's "kero-kero", but I can hardly object to the idea.

It could be, I suppose, but 1) Suwako's a much more likely person to be laughing at Kanako and 2) the "k" at the end makes the laugh framed by the word "croak".
