If only ShiftUp can properly write Marian without making her an infantile character. I liked Modernia because she was Marian, and not because she's this weird amalgamation of Pioneer's worst traits + baby-like innocence.
The current event would suggest she's growing up mentally in someways. Especially with that thinly veiled threat she gave Kilo for planning to expose her location to the ark, getting Kilo to quickly rescind the orders to T.A.L.O.S.

Problem is, her motivation for that isn't some kind of smart observation or caution like Dorothy but because she's single-minded in 'protecting her precious people'. Later on, she even admitted she didn't want to fight because it scares her but not because of trauma but because she's like a child that is scared of violence. It's off-putting so say the least.
