I have to wonder, even if Koishi can move without being noticed, how do people not notice portions of food being scooped into floating bowls and getting eaten? The food can't move subconsciously.

Haha, I was also wondering about that. Maybe she makes it so that the food and dishes moving are perceived only in people's subconscious? Like, she can hide herself and anything she does from the counscious mind. It somewhat makes sense to me.

she just make people think that's "normal". In a world with flying pigs you wouldn't be surprised about that. Koishi just makes people think that seeing her and all she does is escenery.

This argument was in the last volume of Loving Gourmet, but I'll repeat the answer, anyway...
Koishi's power interrupts the subconscious workings of the mind.
Think of it like leaving your keys on the kitchen counter, looking at the kitchen counter, and not seeing your keys, then looking elsewhere for several minutes, and asking your friends to help look, only to have them point to where it was lying out in plain sight. Your keys weren't hidden or invisible, you just failed to recognize them when you saw them.
Koishi doesn't make herself invisible, she simply makes people fail to recognize what they see as being a "person", or fail to see the bowl she is holding or moving as being unusual, they just fail to think about anything she is doing. (Although this power stops working on an object she leaves unattended, as you see in the next strip, forcing people to have to rationalize how changes she caused happened.)

I've yet to read further, wonder how such a confrontation of food would Koishi and Yuyuko be at the same table.
If their powers combined, we would have world starvation.
This is good!I see, the stew is Asian style, so brown rice is an ideal side dish.I like it! I like it a lot!Yes, there are.I want them.Get some pickled radish too.Can I have some more stew?I can't believe it!Maybe it's because of the miso and kelp soup.Maybe it was a good idea to come to this shrine. There are dried chars, right? And, Yes.
